Xinle Shipbuilding Officially Started Construction of 4500 DWT Duplex Stainless Steel Chemical Vessel for Italian Shipowners
On April 1, the opening ceremony for the construction of 4500 DWT duplex stainless steel chemical vessel by Zhejiang Xinle Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for M.E. Marittima Emiliana spa, an Italian shipowner, started cutting plates in the numerical control workshop of Xiangshan shipbuilding base.
The ship is designed to be 89.90 meters long, 16.00 meters wide and 8.10 meters deep. It is classified into Rina classification society. In terms of design, it meets the requirements of providing world trade services for transportation of IMO class II chemicals. The appearance is in accordance with the popular chemical ship design, with independent cargo pump, bow and stern thruster and streamlined bulbous bow structure. This ship is engaged in the transportation of class II chemicals for the unlimited navigation area. The new ship is scheduled to be delivered in the first half of 2021.
